“My partner and I came here for a birthday meal. The restaurant itself was lovely — the decor was stylish and it had a nice, relaxing vibe. When we eventually sat down, we ordered some tap water and waited to be served. Unfortunately, it did take quite a while — we were sitting for at least 20 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. I went for the "fish and chips", and I actually really enjoyed it. The portion looked a bit small at first, but it ended up being quite filling. My partner ordered the Caesar salad, and while she was nearly finished, she found a small pink square block in it. It looked like it could’ve been pork, which was off-putting — especially as it didn’t resemble anchovies. That put her off the meal completely. If she were writing this review, she’d probably give the experience a 3 out of 5 at most. But since I’m reviewing it, I’m basing it on my own experience — I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere. It’s just a shame my partner didn’t feel the same.”

“Went for lunch. Average food, small portions, service quick but not personable. Wouldn’t return to be honest, it feels like you’re there to get every £ they can for the least amount.. starter & main for £20 and you still feel a little robbed (and hungry).”

“5 Stars - Exceptional Service from Libby! We booked a table for 10 for Monday evening dinner at 6:15pm and food was so good. We had an amazing experience at Artezzan in Chester, and a big part of that was thanks to Libby! From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she gave great recommendations that turned out to be absolutely delicious. What really stood out was her friendly and professional attitude—she struck the perfect balance between being attentive without being intrusive. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, which made the whole dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Libby is a credit to Artezzan, and we will definitely be returning thanks to the outstanding service she provided. If you’re dining here, I highly recommend asking for her section—you won’t be disappointed!”

“Booked for Sunday lunch, the restaurant is set out beautifully and tastefully decorated. Dinner was lovely, and the service is top-notch. The only issue for me is I would have liked my own dinner served on my plate. I'm not a fan of having to serve yourself. But that said, we would definitely recommend and return.”
